Description: Assists families, single individuals, veterans, formerly incarcerated people recover from homelessness. Also assists transgender individuals, and individuals living with mental illness or HIV/AIDS. Continuum of care services include:
Case management
Life skills training
Access to medical and dental care
Mental health and substance abuse counseling
Income and housing referrals
Career counseling
other special programs when available (GA, CHASS, BHC and VA).
Single residents share dorm rooms during stay. Families live in a separate residential wing that holds five rooms.

Eligibility: Open to all.
For winter shelter: Open to adults. Must be able to conduct activities of daily living, able to communicate verbally or in writing, no history of arson, no registered sex offenders.

If available, Valid ID. If no ID, agency can work with individual. Accepts referrals from the Alameda County Social Services.
