Description: Offers 24/7 telephone counseling, advice, and guidance to special needs of foster, kinship and adoptive parents. Helpline offers help with concerns of caring for foster children. Can help with issues such as (but not limited to):
- Navigating the foster care system
- Probate court & legal guardianship issues
- Understanding child development, behavioral & developmental issues & strategies for dealing with these issues
- Support, information, & referrals around "aging out" and AB 12
- Offering resources for completing annual training hours for foster parents.
