Description: Provides temporary emergency relief in assisting customers based upon household income. Program can only be used once every 3 years. If participating in the Energy Assistance Program, clients will not qualify for Project EASE.
Please note: Offers electric and discount services during Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) and Disasters. Services are available if power is turned off in this facility.
Eligibility: City of Alameda residents. Based on income level and household size who have received notification of overdue payment from AMP. This service is not intended to pay any required deposit or field action charge.

Requirements: To receive short-term assistance, you must have received a "notification of overdue payment" from AMP. Required documentation may include the following:

Spousal/Child Support
Supplemental Security Income (SSI)/Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)/Social Security Administration (SSA)

Wages and/or income from self-employment
Worker's Compensation
You will also need to show proof of identification for all adults, and children under the age of 18, who are living in the house full time.
Driver's license must show service address or you will be required to submit a lease agreement, mortgage statement or property title.
