• Description:

  Offers an industry-certified construction training program for adults in Alameda County. Program begins with 10-12 weeks of hands-on training and offers 12 months of one-on-one job placement and retention support. Careers can include Sheet Metal Workers, Operating Engineers, Carpenters, and more. Certain trades offer direct entry for Opportunity Build graduates. Graduates pass the program with three certificates:

  • OSHA 10 Safety
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3), developed by North America's Building Trades Unions (NABTU). Has the approval and partnership of the Alameda County Building and Construction Trades Council
