  • Description: Offers a free grocery store (Island Community Market) where clients can shop for food one time per week. Provides fresh produce, shelf stable items, protein, and more. Alameda Food Bank distributes both USDA and non-USDA food. Also offers home delivery and curbside pick up on an as needed basis to clients who are unable to shop in person.

    Holiday foods will be distributed during the regular food pantry hours, before the holidays.

  • Requirements: Picture ID and a piece of recent mail (last 30 days) with your address on it for the head of the household. Each additional adult in the household will need a piece of recent mail with their name on it as well. For each minor please bring a piece of official documentation (social security card, birth certificate, school ID, report card, medical card, etc.)
