Eligibility: Must be: At least 60 years of age, limited self-management of any of the Activities of Daily Living* (ADL), such as medication management and bathing. Able to ambulate, with or without supportive devices, such as canes or walkers. Care is considered semi-independent. This is not a medical facility, and no nursing staff is provided. Able to follow instructions to evacuate or exit the building in case of an emergency. Ability to live in a group setting. Do not need to be Japanese to join this program.
