Description: Offers child care assistance to CalWORKs recipients on Stages 1, 2, 3 and CAPP.
CalWORKs Stage 2 begins after six months or when the county determines a recipient's work or work activity has stabilized. May also begin when transitioning off cash aid. Parents may receive stage 2 child care for up to 24 months after being off cash aid assistance.
CalWorks Stage 3 begins two years after transitioning off of cash aid. This movement through the three stages occurs without disruption of child care services.
For families who have no CalWORKs eligibility, CAPP is a child care payment program. Families register onto a waitlist and are enrolled based on income and family size. Priority is given to CPS, At-Risk children, and homeless families. Assists families with community resources and child care choices and opportunities.
Please note: Offers ongoing services during Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) and Disasters. Services are available if power is turned off in this facility.
