• Description: Provides opportunities for meaningful engagement, skill building, and emotional and social development. Services include recruits, trains, and places adults in jobs at youth-serving agencies.
  
  As part of AmeriCorps, members commit to a one-year term of service in a full-time (1,700 hour) position. AmeriCorps programs aim at two objectives:
  • Youth in high-risk communities receive valuable services.
  • Corps members gain valuable skills and experience. As well as stipends to help with college.
