Offers a supplemental nutrition program for pregnant women and mothers with infants and children up to five years old. Clients receive checks for food and nutrition education to help them achieve and maintain good health. Provides one-on-one nutritional counseling, and group education on such topics as:
- breastfeeding
- lead poisoning
- childhood obesity

Hours: Marin City Health and Wellness Center 1st Friday- 1:30pm-5pm 3rd Friday 8:30am-Noon Novato Center Wednesday and Friday 8am-4:30pm (closed noon-1pm for lunch) San Rafael Health and Wellness Center: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm 2nd and 4th Tuesday 5pm-7pm West Marin Services Center 3rd Thursday 8am-4:30pm (closed noon-1pm for lunch)
Eligibility: Must be a low to moderate income family with child (age 5 and under), or a woman who is pregnant, breastfeeding or postpartum.
