Description: Santa Cruz County Early Start Referrals for a Developmental Assessment through San Andreas Regional Center for children under the age of three.

Services by referral. Parents, pediatrician, childcare provider or family member may refer the child using Demographic Form.

The Infant Program provides free developmental assessments and early intervention services for children from birth to three years of age who have delays in one or more areas of development, which include: motor, communication, self-help/adaptive, social-emotional, and cognitive development.

Eligibility: Child needs to have an assessment administered through our team of therapists. To qualify the child must score at least 33% below their age level in one area of development or have 2 qualifying risk factors.
