  CalWORKs Employment Services (CWES) is an employment program that helps families receiving CalWORKs become self-sufficient by providing job search assistance and job training opportunities. CWES program services include job training scholarships up to $5000.00, paid employment with local employers, child care, transportation support, job search workshops, referrals to legal services, self-employment assistance, counseling, referrals for substance abuse and mental health services, educational support, housing assistance and parenting resources.
