Provides child care, so that primary caregivers can fulfill other family needs. Helps caregivers attend to their own health and maintain their employment with this service. Offers in home, out of home and site based care. Out of home care is offer in licensed, home based daycare centers. Available during the day, at night, and over many days. Site based care is provide to groups of children at various locations while parents attend support groups, parenting classes, or job programs.
Eligibility: Open to all San Francisco-certified RFA parents who reside in and outside San Francisco city and county.
- Foster parent of child/ren (birth to 13 years of age) with special needs including developmental disabilities, prenatal substance exposure, abuse or neglect; or
- Biological parent of child/ren (birth to 13 years of age) enrolled in CalWORKs program.
