Description: Provides a 6-month dormitory transitional housing and support service for homeless single adults who have set a goal of obtaining permanent independent housing. Residents may receive counseling, job training, workshops in money management, support for substance abuse recovery, assistance with job or housing searches, apprenticeship and job-training opportunities, educational workshops.
Offers on-site vocational training programs including the Fresh Starts Culinary Academy, a janitorial and building maintenance program, a landscaping and garden maintenance program, a social services aide training and computer skills lab.
