Description: Provides dependable breastfeeding information and support to Contra Costa County women including answers to breastfeeding questions, follow-up support (warmline consultants will continue support of a breastfeeding mother to help her resolve breastfeeding problems), referrals to WIC Breastfeeding Counselors (for WIC participants only), referrals to in-person lactation support, and referrals to other services as appropriate. Staffed by volunteers who are experts on breastfeeding and related issues, all calls made to the warmline are responded to within 24 hours, 7 days a week.
