Description: Provides shelter and counseling for battered women and their children. Counseling for survivors of sexual assault, molestation, and domestic abuse is also provided at the Community Building. Answers a 24-hour crisis phone line for domestic violence survivors, victims of sexual assault or molestation. Line is open to anyone in a threatening or abusive environment and who are not in immediate physical danger. Operates a restraining order clinic and a food pantry for needy families. Provides temporary shelter for homeless families in a safe, supportive environment including a shelter for single fathers with kids.
