Works in collaboration with children, youth, parents, caregivers, foster parents, group home staff and school personnel to reduce and manage challenging behaviors, as well as strategies and skills to help child and youth in their current environment. Provides children and youth transition assistance to lower levels of care.

  • Eligibility: Age 3-20, psychiatric hospitalization in past 24 months or current behaviors put participant at risk for hospitalization, or participant previously received therapeutic behavioral services. Must be referred by primary mental health provider and approved by Contra Costa County Behavioral Health.
