  • Description: Offers tutor volunteer opportunities for English speaking adults who would like to help ESL (English as a second language) adults in the community to read, write and speak English. The DVLC workshop provides training, teaching materials (a nominal fee) plus ongoing support to those who complete the 2-day workshop. DVLC produces a quarterly newsletter and get-together events throughout the year. Tutor training workshops are held twice a year in the spring and in the fall.
