NATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY - NORTHERN CALIFORNIA CHAPTER (HEALTH/DISABILITIES RELATED VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES), NATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY

Description: Provides a source of information and support for people with MS, their families, friends and professionals involved in their care. Conducts educational programs for professionals, has peer counselors who provide information and emotional support and maintains a lending library. Coordinates fundraising events which support research and treatment for those who are affected by MS. Offers service hours to students and will accept volunteers who must complete court hours. Offense must be non-violent or non-sexual crime related.
