Description: Provides timely and appropriate mental and behavioral health crisis services to children, teens, and adults—anyone, anywhere, at anytime in the county. Team members triage crisis calls, provide care over the phone, provide field-based in person crisis intervention, connect people in crisis and their families to services and peer support, and provide follow up care. A3 provides de-escalation, crisis assessment, 5150 psychiatric evaluation, and linkage support to individuals with co-occurring substance use and behavioral health issues.
Eligibility: Adults with severe mental illness and adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health issues. Populations likely to not be served include adults presenting primarily with related cognitive decline, intellectual disabilities, domestic violence, or crime prevention.
