Description: Offers 8-week developmental playgroups designed to help parents and children work together to meet the child's developmental goals. Playgroups facilitated by a child development specialist and early childhood teacher associate. Groups are designed to provide fun activities to promote each child's language, problem-solving, motor skills, and social interactions. Playgroups are held at the Pittsburg and Delta First 5 Centers. ASQ (Ages and Stages) questionnaires are completed prior to start of the playgroup and at the end of playgroup sessions. Staff assist in referral process if deemed necessary due to developmental concerns.
