Description: Teaches concrete prevention, identification, and intervention strategies for the most destructive of behaviors (i.e. poor school attendance and performance, alcohol and other drug use, gangs, runaways, and violent teens). Loving Solutions is for parents with children age 5-10. Parent Project is for parents with children 11 years and up (no age limit if living with parent). Provides tools to help parents of strong-willed or out-of-control young children regain control and build confidence. Parents meet once a week for 3-hours over 10-weeks. Classes are held in San Pablo schools, Richmond High School and at San Pablo Police Department. Childcare may be available, call for information.
