• Description: Offers free or low cost child care services based on income and family size. Provides early education, health, mental health, nutrition, social services, and parenting classes for low-income families with children from birth to age five. The Head Start and Early Head Start programs are home based and center based; designed to maximize opportunities for each child to develop social and cultural competence.
