    Offers free and confidential complaint investigation for residents of skilled nursing facilities, residential care facilities for the elderly, and assisted living facilities. The program's trained Ombudsmen also educate consumers and providers on residents' rights and quality care practices.

    The Agency on Aging contracts with Valley Caregiver Resource Center to provide the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. Contact Valley Caregiver Resource Center's Ombudsman Program at 559-224-9177.

    The State of California's CRISISline is also available to take calls and complaints 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The State CRISISline number is 800-231-4024.
