The Better Career Access Program (BCAP) is an innovative approach to advancing equity-driven workforce practices by utilizing community voice, legal navigation support, and agency in its service model. BCAP offers effective training, career pathways and placement, holistic job access and training opportunities, and an innovative legal and social services aid system for low-income workers of color in California, therefore creating viable pathways toward quality jobs, career advancement, and worker power.
The Fresno Economic Opportunity Development program supports access to workforce development programs by providing job training/readiness, placement, and wraparound services to underserved individuals in Fresno County. The goal is to uplift low-wage workers, including those unemployed, to advance to higher wage quality jobs, creating greater financial stability.
