- Description: The NCPIN Pet Food Assistance Program is open to low-income households, is limited to a total of 4 pets and they must all be spayed/neutered. If you are approved for the program, you will receive gift cards redeemable at Incredible Pets. The gift cards are distributed on a quarterly basis. To apply for this one-year pet food assistance program, you can pick up an application at the NCPIN Dollar Thrift Store, 434 Colfax Ave, Grass Valley on Tuesdays and Saturdays 11am-3pm or Wednesday through Friday 10am-4pm. You can also request an application via Facebook messenger https://www.facebook.com/nevadacountypetsinneed/ or email ncpetsinneed@gmail.com. Return the completed application any of these ways: to the thrift store (see hours and address above) mail to NCPIN 111 Bank St, #105, Grass Valley, 95945 scan and email to ncpetsinneed@gmail.comFor any further questions call 530-270-2065. Emergency food assistance may at times be provided by Interfaith Food Ministry, 440 Henderson Ave, Grass Valley. Call ahead to see if any food is available. 530-273-8132
