• Description: Western Sierra Medical Clinic is committed to being a major contributor to the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination program. At this time, the vaccines are only available to those individuals that are within the tier 1 priority list. That list includes: Acute Care Hospitals Psychiatric and Correctional Facilities Skilled and Assisted Living Facilities Emergency Medical Personnel Front-line Healthcare workersWe are working closely with the Local Health Authorities in our region to make sure that all Tier 1 workers are vaccinated before moving to Tier 2 in accordance with State and National Guidelines. If you are in Tier 1, please work with your employer in securing a vaccination site. In many instances, the County Health Departments are assigning each Tier 1 facility to a vaccination provider. Our vaccinations for Tier 1 are by appointment only and with proof of being in the current Tier being vaccinated.
