  • Description: Assists in preparation of Domestic Violence Temporary Restraining Orders and accompanies clients to court and mediation appointments. Accompanies victims through the court process and connects them with support systems such as the Nevada County Victim Witness. Offers a free legal clinic with a volunteer family law attorney on the first Thursday and third Wednesday of each month from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a family law attorney; no eligibility requirements or appointment necessary.This is one of many possible First 5 Nevada County Ready to Grow (R2G) program resources.
