Law enforcement and hospital referrals, and all first time guests, are welcome after 8 pm.LOCATIONChurch of the Mountains at 10079 Church Street, Truckee, CA 96161(Located on the lower level)CONTACTNTTHS@amihousing.orgIMPORTANT GUEST RULES NO VIOLENCE: physical actions, sexual advances, threatening behavior, verbal harassment, or foul language. No possession or use of alcohol, drugs, medical marijuana,or weapons in or around the perimeter of the Warming Center. If you come into the EWC under the influence of drugs or alcohol, you must be able to take care of yourself and follow all of the guest rules. Or the hospital and police will be involved for safety. All personal belongings will be checked in and returned upon check out. Some items (personal care, change of clothing, paperwork can be kept in a provided clear plastic bag) Once you have checked in for the night, there is no coming and going permitted. If you leave you are unable to return that night. Everyone must follow the schedule for meals, cigarette smoke breaks and lights out. Generally, pets must be kept in kennels. Well-behaved dogs might be allowed to stay with owner on the cot. There will be breaks for pets to be taken outdoors, and owners are responsible for picking up after their pets.Violation of Guest Rules will result in your being asked to leave and possibly permanently excluded from the Emergency Warming Center program.
