• Description: First United Methodist Church (FUMC) offers the Helping Hands feeding program every Monday at noon.Additionally, FUMC offers Narcotics Anonymous meetings (Tuesdays only at noon and 7 p.m.) and supports The Gathering Inn, a non-profit organization that offers an emergency overnight homeless shelter, and social, health and case management services to Placer County's homeless population.WE SEEK NEW REFERRING PARTNERS FOR OUR LENDING MISSION!When funding allows, we can offer very low-interest, long-term loans secured by the Church for borrowers with proof of income. Financial counseling is offered and required. Sometimes a small loan can make the difference of a vehicle repair needed to keep a job, or a down payment that might prevent homelessness.
