• Description: The Head Trauma Support Project aims to improve the quality of life for survivors of brain injury and their families in the greater Sacramento area by providing education, information, and support to survivors, families/caregivers and professionals. Services provided include support groups, educational events, and information and referrals through our phone line and website.The Survivors Support Group is facilitated by Speech and Language Pathology students from Sacramento State University. The Caregiver and Adult Children/Siblings support groups are facilitated by a social worker. The MTBI Group is facilitated by two different neuropsychologists.
