COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES (CASA) - PLACER COUNTY, CHILD ADVOCATES OF PLACER COUNTY
Did this help?
- Description: CASA volunteers are trained, then assigned by the court to mentor foster youth and act as the eyes and ears of the judge and the voice of the child. Through court reports and court appearances, CASA volunteers state the child's wishes and provide the court with recommendations as to what actions would be in the child's best interests. We also assign CASAs to youth in Delinquency Court, and most recently, to youth involved in sex trafficking.
