Description: Sprouts is a Trauma Informed Care Preschool Program under the umbrella of the Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento.The Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento is committed to positively impacting the lives of children, youth and families affected by abuse, neglect,and trauma in California.The Sprouts program offers a warm and playful atmosphere with a variety of therapeutic services for the very youngest survivors of abuse, neglect and other childhood traumas; ages 2-5 years.Our services include but are not limited to: a therapeutic preschool, developmental assessments, mental health assessments, individual and group therapy, behavioral interventions, family education and support.Sprouts aims to support children who have a difficult time maintaining traditional preschool or daycare placements due to a mental health diagnosis, social, emotional and behavioral challenges.The Sprouts program aims to increase placement stability and increase health and wellness of young children and their families.
