KidsFirst promotes community health and well-being through prevention, early intervention, education, and treatment.KidsFirst is the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Placer County, operating two Counseling and Family Resource Centers centrally located & near public transportation in Roseville and Auburn.Programs and Services include: Active Parenting Now (for teens) Co-Operative Parenting Class Dinosaur School Early Childhood Education & Support for New Parents Incredible Years (for kids ages 2-12) Individual Counseling Parent - Child Interactive Therapy Parent and Child Coaching Parent and Teen Communications Postpartum Depression Professional Therapeutic Counseling & Wellness Trauma-Focused Behavioral therapy Support for Post Baby Blues Support for Fathers Forever Fathers Trainings throughout Placer County Child Abuse Signs Training Mandated Reporter Training Mandated Reporter Refresher Forever Fathers Support Class by Dads/for Dads Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Training In addition, KidsFirst helps clients with: Health insurance enrollment Various support groups Information and referral assistance for services not offered in-house
