  • Description: The MIND Institute is an international, multidisciplinary Research Center, Assessment Clinic and Resource Center striving to understand the causes and develop better treatments and ultimately cures for Neurodevelopmental disorders.The research conducted at the MIND Institute focuses on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Fragile X Syndrome and 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome.The MIND Institute is classified as one of 15 Intellectual and Developmental Disability Research Centers (IDDRC) in the Nation. The research conducted at the MIND Institute will help develop future directions for treatment strategies and approaches.The MIND Institute features an on-site Resource Center that is open to the public Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.The center offers the community an opportunity to speak with representatives about healthcare and school navigation, transition and IEP services, and support groups.The center also has various information on a wide range of disorders and disabilities.
