• Description: Beginning January 2024...Partnership HealthPlan of California is a non-profit community based health care organization that contracts with the State to administer Medi-Cal benefits through local care providers. Upcoming Changes to Placer and Nevada County Medi-Cal Managed Plans Beginning January 2024, Nevada and Placer County have elected to transition away from Anthem and California Health and Wellness to Partnership Health Plan of California as the managed care provider for Medi-Cal recipients in their counties. Partnership Health Plan is currently working to establish contracts with all current Medi-Cal providers so that there is no disruption to customer care. Customers are expected to receive notification of changes in October.
