Description: American Cancer Society's Prostate Cancer Support Group. This is a drop-in group for men with prostate cancer, their families and friends. The American Cancer Society offers information, guidance and support to cancer patients and their families. Our volunteers drive patients to treatment centers. We provide home care supplies and medical equipment. We can also help patients with the cost of getting to treatments by reimbursing for transportation and helping with lodging. We also educate the public on specific ways to lower their risk for cancer and stress the importance of early detection tests.
