Description: Friends Outside provides visitor center services and case management within all thirty-three (33) State Prisons in California, and parenting classes for male and female inmates in all State Prisons. Conflict Resolutions Workshops are offered in local State and Federal institutions, as well as in the community. There are County jail chapters in California and Nevada; services provided vary by location, but can include: Support groups for families and parolees, Prison visitor centers, Family reunification services for incarcerated parents, Counseling, educational, social, and recreational activities for prisoners children, Emergency services: Food, clothes, transportation, lodging, Pre and Post-release services such as parole planning and job/employment counseling support groups, Crisis intervention, Information and referral, Inmate mother/infant residential facility, Work Furlough residences and reentry houses.
