• Description: Redway FRC, supporting healthy and happy families, neighborhoods and communitites, started as a Healthy Start initiative and is also home to the Southern Humboldt First Five Playgroup Project. Some of the services at include: on-site medical and mental services with RRHC staff, parent education/support workshops, student and family support teams, resource and referral, basic needs assistance, Partner Alternatives to Violence Endeavor classes, after school clubs, and community use of the FRC facilities. The Redway FRC is a member of the Healthy Start Schools and Communities Partnership, which is a consortium of resource centers collaborating efforts to stregthen the Hummboldt community.
