• Description: The mission of RHS Harrington House is to help end domestic violence in Del Norte County. We are committed to providing victims of domestic violence with the resources needed for safety, healing, and prevention of further victimization, and to working within our community promoting and participating in intervention, education, and advocacy to prevent family violence. We believe our mission will only be accomplished when society no longer tolerates domestic violence. Services include: Emergency Shelter Temporary restraining orders Court, social and legal advocacy Court accompaniment Emergency food and clothing 24 hour crisis hot line Individual and group counseling Counseling for children of battered women Drop-in center Emergency response for law enforcement Emergency response to hospitals Transportation to safe locations Help in establishing safe households Community education and presentations
