• Description: The Humboldt County Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Prevention Coalition began meeting in 2002 to address high rates of substance use among local youth. At the April 2012 meeting, coalition members voted and renamed the group Humboldt Allies for Substance Abuse Prevention (ASAP). The coalition is comprised of more than 20 local organizations and agencies working together to prevent youth substance use.
