Description: An Americorps Residential Program, one of only three in the country. The Hoopa TCCC program focuses on environmental restoration and rehabilitation on Tribal Lands. In Americorps TCCC, you will dedicate ten months to traveling around the West Coast Regions with a team of other 18-24 year-olds, working on education, public safety, and environmental projects. You may even provide disaster relief through organizations like the American Red Cross and the National Park Service. When you finish, you'll have greater direction, unparalleled experience, and the confidence and sense of accomplishment that come from a job well done. When you serve for a year in Americorps TCCC, You'll receive 1. Housing, meals and a bi-weekly living allowance of $180.00 2. A student loan deferment 3. Paid Child Care 4.
