Description: The Fortuna Adventist Community Services Center houses 3 programs, HART, The Dorcas Program and Tabitha's Place.Humboldt Alcohol Recovery Treatment (HART) has provided DUI Program Services for Humboldt County since July 1991. We provide programs for any individual who has been arrested or convicted of Driving Under the Influence of alcohol or drugs.The Dorcas program continues to meet the needs of the clients who walk through their doors with a "choice" food pantry and vouchers to shop at Tabitha's Place for clothing (clothing bank), bedding, and household items. NOTES: The clothing bank may be accessed once every three months. The food bank may be accessed every three months. Food Stamp eligibility is not required if an unexpected emergency exists. (This must be discussed first.)There is one small room for emergency shelter.
