Description: Classes for Parents, caregivers and friends of children with Unique challenges at school and/or their daily lives. These 6 educational classes can provide you with skills, knowledge, and a community of people who can relate to your experience.You will learn from people like you, who get it, who have been there. Trained peers will guide you on how to better understand and support your child while maintaining your own well-being. This 6 week course is free and help parents get: Up to date and practical information about mental health challenges and behaviors. Learn how to effectively advocate for your child with the school and other systems of care. Develop problem solving and communications skills.Call for start date.
