Parents learn how their parenting decisions and actions affect their child's growth and development.Your SafeCare provider will visit you once a week for around 18 to 20 weeks.Key PartsThere are 3 key parts to SafeCare - Parent Child Interaction, Health, and Home Safety: Parent-Child Interaction will teach you how to structure activities with your child including play, meals, and outings. For parents of babies, you will be shown how to interact with your baby to improve development and bonding. Health will teach you ways to help your child when he or she is sick or hurt, and help you decide when to go to the doctor. Home Safety will show you how to make your home safe for your child and help prevent accidents.
