Description: The Employment Training Division (ETD) provides a comprehensive range of workforce services to benefit job seekers as well as employers and their staff. The purpose of these activities is to provide job seekers the services they need to successfully obtain employment, stay employed and increase their earnings. And to provide businesses and their employees the supports they need to grow and improve their workforce. Eligibility: -Basic services are provided at no cost to the public. These include job search assistance and workshops, vocational counseling, work readiness skills training, basic computer skills training, job postings, job recruitment and fairs and current local labor market information.-Training and supportive services paid by ETD are provided to eligible lower income adults or dislocated workers age 18 and older. Eligible dislocated workers are individuals who have been laid off from their previous job because of a business closure or workforce reduction. Youth must be 16 to 24 years of age, low income and have trouble obtaining employment to be eligible for paid education and training.
