Description: Changing Tides Family Services provides a free child care referral service for parents who live or work in Humboldt County. Our database includes licensed and exempt child care centers, licensed family child care homes, play groups, and friend, family, and neighbor caregivers who have chosen to list with Changing Tides Family Services.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-5:00pm
Eligibility: Children age 0-4 years who need full time child care services and who are at the federal poverty level. Families who meet the current Federal Poverty Guidelines (See chart Below or call our office for current information). Families who also are initially enrolled in the state funded Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN) child care setting, may be concurrently enrolled in the Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership. If your child is not already attending we will help with that process.
