  • Description: Assist survivors of violent crime. Services include: 1. Counseling, resource and referral, crisis intervention advocacy, emergency assistance (referrals for food, shelter, clothing), information and referral to affordable psychological counseling, community programs and agencies, and legal services. Assistance with filling out claims for Victim of Crime Compensation Program. 2. Criminal justice support services: Case status and disposition, orientation in the criminal justice system with specifically designed programs for children and adults, court escort, court support, Victim Impact Statement assistance, property return and restitution information. 3. Services for people with disabilities: Special assistance or accommodation can be arranged by appointment. 4. Temporary restraining order information and referral. (Does not generally assist with restraining orders).
