Description: Loving Solutions enables parents of strong-willed children to create healthy routines that increase wanted behaviors such as doing chores, improving school performance, and listening, while decreasing unwanted behaviors such as tantrums, saying "no", and hitting. The Loving Solutionsseries also offers families local resources and additional family support. Loving Solutions classes will take place once a week for an 11-week period from Monday, September 9th to Monday, November 22nd, 2019 from 6 to 8p.m. on the Arcata Elementary campus. This class is for parents of children ages 5-10 years old. There is a $35 materials fee. Fee waivers are available upon request. Dinner, free child care and a teen study area will be provided at no cost to parents and caregivers while they attend the course.
