  • Description: With elections approaching this year, the Humboldt County Office of Elections has asked that we help spread the word that all eligible voters have the right to vote, including people who are experiencing homelessness. Please post the attached Voters Experiencing Homelessness Fact Sheet in locations where people experiencing homelessness might see it if you can. If staff or clients have questions about voting while experiencing homelessness, please send them to Humboldt_elections@co.humboldt.ca.us.Office of Elections will be holding two workshops at the Center in McKinleyville, 1615 Heartwood Dr., next week to answer questions about resources for voters experiencing homelessness, accessible voting machines, vote center services and more. Refreshments will be provided.Workshop for bilingual votersTuesday 1/16 from 3-6 pmWorkshop for voters with disabilitiesThursday 1/18 from 3-6 pm (is this workshop also for people experiencing homelessness)
