Description: Opening 2025 in Eureka, the Humboldt Dockside Market will launch on Saturday, June 7th at Madaket Plaza, running bi-weekly through October. This open-air, direct-to-consumer seafood market is a partnership between NCGA and Ashley's Seafood, offering local fishermen a convenient space to sell their catch every other Saturday during the season. Much like a traditional farmers' market, shoppers will find a rotating lineup of Humboldt-based fishermen selling fresh, local seafood. A fish fillet station on site will offer education, processing, and preparation tips, creating a hands-on experience that connects customers to their food and the hardworking people who bring it to shore. Opening day will feature a 10AM ribbon-cutting with the Greater Eureka Chamber of Commerce.
